Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-03 (revised)

United Local Bands is operated by Creston Global Enterprises LLC, a California limited liability company (“CrestonGE”, “we”). It is a preview site and it is not fully open yet. This page says what personal information the site handles, and why.

There is no sign-up form on this site today. We collect no email address or other sign-up information from you through this site.

What this site does with personal information

It publishes a directory of bands and venues. Those pages are about bands and venues, built from the sources described under “What the directories publish” below.

What we do not collect

• No password and no account. There is nothing to log in to yet.
• Nothing you type into this site is sent to us. The only box you can type in is the directory filter, which works in your browser.
• No advertising and no analytics. Our own code sets no cookies. The only thing our own code stores in your browser is your light or dark preference, under one key, and only if you press the appearance button.

Who serves this site

This site is served over Cloudflare’s network, so Cloudflare handles the connection itself, including your IP address, under its own terms. Cloudflare may also add small scripts of its own to pages it delivers, for example to protect email addresses on some pages from automated harvesting. We add no third-party script of our own.

What the directories publish

Bands. Band pages show a band’s name, logo and upcoming shows for bands that have chosen to be listed through Setlist Pro, the band-management app. If a band has a logo, your browser loads it from Setlist Pro’s file storage, which is hosted by Supabase, so that host can see your IP address as it would for any image. A band that withdraws is removed from this site within about 15 minutes.

Venues. Venue pages show a venue’s name, its category, and its city and region. They can also show a street address, where the public map data has one. They link to directions. They show no coordinates today. This information comes from public map data: the Overture Maps Places dataset, which is licensed under CDLA-Permissive-2.0 (and includes Foursquare data under Apache 2.0), and MusicBrainz, which is released under CC0. Each page says which source it comes from, and the Data sources page lists them.

Addresses. A venue’s street address, website and telephone number may be published when public map data lists them for a business that is open. We try not to publish anyone’s home address. Before a listing is published it is checked for signs that an address is a home, by a person or by automatic rules. A listing the checks flag is held for a person to review. A listing they do not flag may be published without one. These checks cannot catch every case. For example, a house that holds concerts can look just like a venue, so a home address may be published before we know. If an address on this site is your home, write to venues@unitedlocalbands.com and, once we have confirmed the request is genuine, we will take the listing down. The person whose home it is decides whether it is shown, and may ask us at any time to stop showing the listing or to show it again, unless they have asked us to delete it, which cannot be undone. This site has no accounts and no form for this today, so we handle these requests by hand. Once an address has been public, other sites and search engines may already hold a copy, which we cannot take back.

Do Not Track

This site does not track you across other websites, and does not change what it does when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, because there is no tracking for the signal to turn off.

Children

This site is not for children, and there is nothing here aimed at them. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we change the effective date at the top and publish the new version on this page.
