These terms govern your use of the United Local Bands website, which is operated by Creston Global Enterprises LLC, a California limited liability company (“CrestonGE”, “we”).

1. What this site is today

United Local Bands is not fully open yet. Right now this site is a preview: a directory of bands and venues and a few pages describing what is planned. There is no sign-up form on this site today. Nothing here is a product you can sign in to, buy from or sell through.

2. Sign-up

A sign-up form is planned, with no date promised. Until it exists we collect no email addresses or other sign-up information through this site.

4. No promise that the site will open, or open as described

Everything on these pages about the future describes what is planned. Plans change, and some of what is described may never be built. Nothing here is a commitment to launch, to launch by any date, or to launch with any particular feature.

5. Listings in the directories

Band pages show bands that have chosen to be listed through Setlist Pro. Venue pages are built from public map data (Overture Maps Places, licensed under CDLA-Permissive-2.0 and including Foursquare data under Apache 2.0, and MusicBrainz, released under CC0), and each page says which source it comes from. A listing is not an endorsement, and it is not an agreement between you and us.

We may publish a business’s street address, website and telephone number where public map data has them for a business that is open. We try not to publish a home address, but we cannot promise that none ever appears: our checks cannot catch every case. If an address is your home, the person whose home it is decides whether it is shown, and may ask us at any time to stop showing the listing or to show it again. This site has no account or form for that today, so we handle such requests by hand: write to venues@unitedlocalbands.com and, once we have confirmed the request is genuine, we will take the listing down. You can also use that address to ask us to correct or remove a listing about you or your business.

6. Use the site normally

Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to this site or the systems behind it, or use automated means to overload it. We may refuse access that looks abusive.

7. What belongs to whom

The text, layout, design and artwork on this site belong to Creston Global Enterprises LLC, a California limited liability company (“CrestonGE”, “we”) and may not be copied or reused without permission. Band names, venue names and other third-party names that appear anywhere on this site belong to their owners and appear for identification only. Data taken from public sources remains under the licence of that source, as stated on the Data sources page.

8. No warranty

This preview site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.

9. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we change the effective date above and publish the new version on this page.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by California law, and any dispute about them will be heard in the courts for San Francisco County, California.
